A. Experience:
1. FACILITATION OF LEARNING
Piet Cronjé worked with the FIETA (Forestry Industries Seta) in 2004 to upgrade the ETD competence of trainers in furniture production. This included the arrangement and presentation of two different workshops at 5 venues across the country. About 90 furniture-manufacturing trainers participated. This was followed by a mentorship programme which required the planning and support to six mentors who visited 24 sites to support trainers in the improvement of their ETD competence and the alignment of their learning practices to NQF standards. All these services to FIETA during 2004 were performed in association with Terrance Bester.
More recently Piet has trained
       four groups of emerging entrepreneurs or business hopefuls in the
               construction of business plans, cashflow statements included
               (CUT/ ABSA.).
       Middle managers (Public Works Roads and Transport) in leadership
               development (7 month programme - UFS / thinkingfusion,
               NQF 5, 2007).
He was a Primary School teacher for 13 years.

2. ASSISTING WITH  MARKETING AND BUSINESS PLANS
       Recently (2005-2006) Piet has also developed marketing / business
               plans for a number of businesses, e.g: With Bopa Lesedi
               Management Consultants:
       Nketoana District Municipality Local Economic Development Plan.
       Assist in the development of a business plan for the Lake !Gariep
               Initiative (DTEEA - FS).
       Business plans and feasibility studies in the logging and charcoal
                industries.
Other Business Plans: radio station, cleaning business, furniture
       factory, veterinary products.
Marketing plans: windmill company and body bag manufacturer.

Work with CUT (Grant from ABSA) to advise six emerging micro
       businesspersons on the planning of their businesses
       (19-21 November 2007)

3. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Piet has also been entrusted with a number of projects that required thinking and action at the project management level and strategic planning:
       Facilitate the Merging of 3 Further Education and Training
               Institutions (2002).
       Facilitated a 5-day governance induction course for an FET College
               Board Members (2004).

5. ASSESSOR
Piet is a qualified generic assessor and has assessed several POE's in ETDP competencies.  Registered assessor for 17 Unit Standards
